Help us campaign today for a better tomorrow!
Our communities desperately need more affordable housing options to rent and buy. We need new policies at the county level to encourage reasonable, responsible development that don't stress our roads, schools, and water/waste-water systems.

We need to provide a pathway to affordable home ownership to those in our community in affordable or low-income rentals.
We need to revisit "affordable" standards to make sure our teachers, nurses, doctors, fire fighters, and police have places to live and serve in our community.
We need to better integrate affordable housing into our communities rather that segregate across our island socioeconomically.
We need to rally state leaders to get Hawaiians onto Hawaiian lands. Endless delays and long waitlists are unacceptable.
Past leaders have failed to grow the infrastructure around our communities, leading to problems like traffic jams in Waimea, no secondary roads in/out of Waikoloa Village , and waste water concerns in Puako and Kohala.
We need to develop creative solutions to our problems and better share the expenses with local and state/federal partner

We need to develop creative solutions to our problems and better share the expenses with local and state/federal partners. We need to be strategic and keep people not just safe for today, but for future generations of tomorrow.
Infrastructure issues are not the exclusive concern of our district; these issues exist island-wide. We must collaborate across districts and look how to efficiently and effectively tackle infrastructure concerns throughout the Big Island.
Local government needs to be more open and honest. No more secret meetings or deals. The public needs to be better informed and involved.
We need to let the light shine on County Council and public Commissions & Boards; we need to ensure Sunshine Law is followed and that constituents are as informed as possible.
We need the County website

We need the County website to be easy to access and serve both current content and useful utility to our residents.
We need to use technology to better connect our people with our government. We should use QR codes on Subdivision/Planning Billboards so that people can easily scan/click to see exactly what's happening on parcels being developed here. We should employ surveys and polls to better understand what our residents want our government to do.
